You Can Live Like SpongeBob SquarePants In His Pineapple House in Real Life!

Fans Can Now Stay at His Pineapple House in Real Life Located In Seal Beach, CA

Paramount and Vrbo have teamed up to create the most nostalgic of abodes to celebrate the U.S. debut of the highly anticipated animation film, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. Fans of the iconic Nickelodeon series and its characters can now stay at SpongeBob SquarePants‘ pineapple home in real life.

Floating approximately 80 feet above sea level in Seal Beach, California, the underwater-pineapple is brought to life and is replicated with all the elements of the TV set. Fans can expect the cozy living area to feature iconic emblems from the show including SpongeBob’s famous red seat. As for the kitchen, it highlights the Krusty Krab decor, perfect for flipping signature Krabby Patties. A gallery wall is seen spotlighting some of the favorite characters of the SpongeBob chronicles as they appear in the new series, Kamp Koral: SongeBob’s Under Years.

VP of global brand marketing at Vrbo, Lish Kennedy said, “Families can book cabins, condos, castles, treehouses and train cars on Vrbo, but this is the first time we’ve had a gigantic pineapple on our platform.” EVP Worldwide Partnerships, Paramount Pictures’ Michelle Hagen adds, “We’ve enjoyed bringing SpongeBob’s unique world to life with Vrbo so that fans everywhere can experience it in a completely new way.”

Paramount Home Entertainment and Vrbo have teamed up to give a first responder and their family an opportunity to visit the Pineapple Over the Sea in person. However, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, guests are not yet available to book their stay. For a virtual tour, fans can check out Vrbo.
