Rihanna set to perform at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show

Are you more excited about this or the game?

Rihanna will perform the Super-Bowl halftime show in February 2023. The announcement was made by the National Football League (NFL) and confirmed by the superstar on her Instagram. Rihanna had posted an image holding an NFL football, thus alluding to the set performance.

The Super-Bowl halftime show is one of the most coveted events. The halftime of the NFL's annual final playoff game is the show's peak, attracting much interest. The star performer during the Super-Bowl halftime show is always the jewel of the show.

Rihanna had previously declined to perform at the Super-Bowl halftime show in 2019. Her move then was to show solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, who was protesting against racial inequality in the US.

It has been years since Rihanna released her last album. She has only appeared as a guest artist in a few singles by other musicians. Even though she had promised to release new music of her own and teased fans on social severally, nothing has come out.

The new mother's performance, who had her first child this year, will be a major highlight for the upcoming Super-Bowl halftime show.
